That's one way to look at it.

Although, I'm in the form follows function crowd. The 2011 GT has a 33% increase in HP. That's enough for me to forget about the taillights (or headlights).

I installed a Brenspeed stage 2 performance package for $1200...now running 550rwhp...approx 645 crank ...enough to make me glad I forgot about the 5.0 and their rearend...

Although the difference in HP between a 2010 GT vs 2011 GT (320 vs 412?) is much more significant compared to a 2010 GT500 vs a 2011 GT500 (540 vs 550?).
