Ok I will not be doing any dyno tuning.Everyone is saying if I get a sct tuner it would be so much better.what more can they do over my predator?Basically is it worth me buying a sct and selling my predator will I fell a difference butt dyno wise?

I would not recommend trying to reprogram it yourself. There are thousands of adjustments to make a safe tune.

the sct is more universal between models...diablo makes it that only certain predators only work on certain models...but my tuner used a sct tune on my diablo

SCT hands down. The predator is kinda like "my first tuner"

there's not as many ppl that tunes for diablo but the ones who do are very good...and i'm not saying they're better than sct...its just easier with tthe sct.

As far as the canned tunes that come stock on the tuners, they're all mediocre, at best. It's been said before that the tuning device isn't important, rather, it's the tune. If you're considering getting a local dyno tune, then check with them and see what programmer they prefer and go from there. As far as email tunes, most places tend to stick with SCT tunes, but Diablo isn't dead to the market.

The person that writes the tune has an influence on performance, not if it's on a Diablo or an SCT handheld. The owner-adjustable settings are minor as opposed to the protected settings that only the guy writing the tune can adjust. In an attempt to answer what I believe is your question, I'd stick with the Diablo if that's what you have and find someone that writes custom tunes to support it. The canned Diablo and SCT tunes suck. A good custom tune, regardless if it's written for the Diablo or SCT, will kick azz.

Granted more companies support the SCT but a few companies do email tunes for the diablo.
