will probably get a cage with swing outs but that won't affect the drivability very much.

Know folk that call it a day as they hover around 11.5-11.6. Just don't want to enter the low 11s on a regular basis and need 6 point rollbars.

Clearly your car is destined for low 11s and you just know that when you hit 11.1, you're going want to 10s...lol. Rollbars will suffice. Caging really rips up the interior and reduces comfort etc.

Pics of my interior with 10 point NHRA certified cage. Required for 135+ mph traps.

When I recently got my BMR I pulled them out of the box and thought "Damn, these gotta be twice as heavy as the OEM rear LCA's. Used the little scale at work and the set was 7lbs. 12oz. The OEM's maxed the scale out at 11lbs. 2oz., but I'm sure it would have been a bit more.

Just saying

I found one cage a few months back that was already welded together. The main hoop and back braces along with the cross member were all put together. It could be placed in the car and it would reduce the tearing up of the inside of the car. Swing outs were fitted and put on later. It made it possible to not have to weld a bunch of stuff inside the car, making it stinky and such. I haven't decided, but I know eventually it will come.
