i don't care how people spend there money, but what you are saying you want to do seems like a huge waste to me. i have a carbon fiber hood on my car so i know that they are not cheap. why would you want to spend that kind of money just to spend another couple hundred to cover it up? i know it would not look the same, and don't know if it would work but why not get a carbon fiber wrap made for the underside of the hood? just my 2 cents
