Default What spark plugs to use with Hot Rod cams?

Hi all,
I am going to replace my stock spark plugs as they seem to be misfiring once in a while. I have heard this can be a problem with the Hot Rod cams. I am not quite sure if I should go with a colder plug or not or should I stay with the normal heat range? Any help would be greatly appreciated. All mods in sig. Thanks!!

I've never heard of anyone using anything other than the normal heat range plugs for N/A applications, but hopefully someone that has some real experience in this will chime in...

Also, it looks like you are going with a supercharger in July? That's awfully close; you might want to consider holding off and getting whatever plugs they recommend with the blower. I would think that mod would be the determining factor as opposed to the cams.

Forgot to remove the supercharger. That is on the back burner right now. I too thought normal heat range but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply.

NA = Autolite HT1

You don't need a colder plug.....it's most likely your tune..!!

Thanks for the input. Yes, I am starting to think it's more with the tune. I am on my third tune. I have an older one that didn't do this but had other issues. I might try that one again to see if the miss goes away. Then I will contact Chris at AM to tweak it some more. Thanks again.
