2010 GT Brakes (stock)
Is there any way to make the brakes stop the car better as in diff shoes! As in just remove the stock shoes and slip in BETTER ones. Car dosent seem to stop quick or hard enough with them ol stock brake pads....thnks

I too was unhappy with the braking performance of my 2010. I took it to the dealer about two weeks after picking it up and they said just drive it a few thousand miles and the braking performance will improve; it didn't.
I proceeded to remove the rotors and had them skimmed, spiral sanded them with 120 grit sand paper them cleaned them up. I then installed stainless steel brake lines and Hawk HPS pads, bled the brake system and bedded the pads in according to the Hawk instructions. Huge difference; much better initial bite and overall performance.
Interestingly enough, I still experienced a somewhat spongy pedal until someone cut in front of me about a month after the upgrade and I got the brake system into ABS. Since then, the pedal is nice and firm.
