Default Stock gear ratio??

I bought my car with a JLT CAI and a tuner already with the car. I have no idea what flash has been put on the car so I need to flash back to stock and then reflash.

Question is, what are the gear ratio's AND size for a stock GT rearend? Anything else I need to know with a reflash would be greatly appreciated.

it "should" be written on the rear of the pumpkin.
Best to enter your VIN on that website that will bring up the original specs on your car, in case the original gears were 3.55's or better.

3:31 is stock but 3.55 was a popular option, at least in some years. Plus, the previous owner might have put different gears on. Keep in mind that you may need to be concerned about wheel size, too. Does the car have the stock wheels? 18" is also a popular option on the 05-09s.

Why do you need to reflash?

It'll be on the pumpkin plus there is a code on the door sill info plate. But if you bought the car used, they could be most ANY ratio. THEN you'll probably need your tire diameter, tranny ratio and engine RPM at any particular speed (from a GPS) to narrow it down.
