Default Clicking noise, help diagnose!

My 07 GT has had a clicking sound coming from the right passenger wheel area for quite a while but now seems to be getting louder. Originally this was a clicking noise that happened when i turned left only but is now doing it turning right and left.

It is a clicking that does speed up and slow down as the car does..

I had a friend listen and we originally thought it may have been the wheel hitting the brake pad clips but eliminated that.

We also checked for rocks and tightened lug nuts, so those are eliminated as well.

My best guess is a wheel bearing has broken loose inside the wheel assembly.....anyone have any other suggestions of what this irritating and embarassing clicking could be?

I have an appointment with Ford on Saturday......

It might be your ABS reluctor ring.
The wheel bearing is out of the question.
That makes noise 100%, not just while turning.
Or your differential gears/clutch plates, they make noise during turning.
Do you have the friction modifier in the rear end lube?
Have you done ANY work to the rear end since its birth at Ford?

Would the ABS ring cause some weird brake feel as well? if so, that just may be the culprit. It is DEFINITELY when i turn only...glad to know its not that because the estimate was about $500 to replace.

No work done on the rear that i know of, it has the factory 3.31 gears. I bought the car in February with 28K miles...

Any other suggestions on what htis may be? I am going to the dealership tomorrow and would like to give suggestions for what they should look at....could it be the tie rod ends?

I should also say I jacked the wheel up and spun it and turned but no clicking noise happened so its definitely only happening under load.

Dat spells diff clutches click......

Add some friction modifier.
Cant hurt but may save you some stealership $$.
Does it look like someone may have been in there?
How you know they are 3.31s?
Have you counted the revs or are you
going by the factory tag?
Gears are changed without changing the factory
3.31 tag all the time round here.

Is contacting the previous owner out of the question?

The clicking is in the front so I dont think diff clutch would be it.....I am hoping for something super simple like something in the rotor.

yea, i am going by the tag that shows 3.31, this stang was absolutely bone stock so i dont think anything had been done to it before i got my hands on her.

Is there anything stuck in your tire?

Are you sure it's coming from there or could it be drive shaft?

Lots of possabilities and no mods listed. Hard to tell.
