Sorry for the ignorance here guys, but one last question. If I am running a stock motor there is no need for this right? Best I ever plan to do is CAI and a Tune. Anything else would be waaaaay down the road. I am intrigued anytime I find something like this that I know nothing about.

It's probably not necessary, but I did have some blowby even when I was naturally aspirated. Not a lot, but enough to see it when I pulled my upper intake for the supercharger install. I'd wait a few months to see if blowby is an issue with naturally aspirated 5.0s before I made a final decision.

Well stated..

I think I will buy one soon just one more thing to have prior to blower install.

but... why not spend $100 bucks just to be super safe with your 30K car.

A catch can is still helpful on a stock motor. All I have is a tune, CAI and axel back exhaust. I would recommend anybody to get "on the can".

Thanks to threads on this forum, I put one on my car- very good feeling to pour out the oil in a modest amount rather than have it ingested back into the motor.

Ive always been told just to use an air compressor filter from home depot and make one. Only $12.69 looks the same as the steeda one for $73.45. Just have to get your fittings and then mount it. I'm guessing its the same principal as the upr one?

That's why I wouldn't buy the steeda. I wouldn't use that setup regardless. It just doesn't do as good of a job at pulling oil out of the recirculated vapors as the more purpose built cans.
