Default Kooks!

FINALLY! Kooks longtubes are on the way, arriving later this week. My ? is i really only have this weekend to install them because i have plans for the next few weekends at least. Will running without a tune for a week or two till I can afford a dyno tune mess anything up? If not then what will it do? I know it changes the A/F ratio thats why it requires a tune but just curious about anything else I should know. I can wait till i have another weekend but IM JUST SO ANXIOUS!!

What other mods do you have? ie...CAI that already required a tune.

If you have a tune supporting a CAI and your O/R X and Bassini axle backs you'll be OK. If not, call John or Chris at BBR Racing 561-417-5555 ext. 301 and get you one!

I just installed mine 2 weekends ago. What a PITA. Took me 12 hours by myself with the car jacked up on stands. I already had a tune so I ran the car a couple days and then it threw cat codes, P0420 & P0430. Brenspeed tweaked the tune for the cats and everything is good now. You'll enjoy them!!!

hat state do you live in? All the states I have ever lived in requires cats to be on the car.

I would love to be obnoxiously loud too, and belch out pure muscle exhaust from my car too, sign of pure power!

But unfortunately, the laws in my state require cats, functioning emissions controls, and they do a sniff test in my county to make sure it all works.

no sniff test here. As long as im not torque'n around in traffic and city streets I dont get bothered too much. I keep the mind-set of I don't mess with you and you don't mess with me and we'll all go about our business and have a fine day! I'm in the Baton Rouge area
