Shift Knob broke

Shift **** broke
OK... it's been 5 years.
My 2005 Mustang GT's shift **** broke.
The top silver part 'fell-off' in my hand. No, i wasn't man-handling it (as i sometimes do)
but just came off in the palm of my hand.
This feels EXACTLY like the sort of thing that FORD bashers seem to site as examples.

Guess it could be worse. Could have been a mechanical problem that would cost thousands.
GREAT, now what? Go aftermarket or get out the glue?

The problem is they want twice as much for them. Unless i'm getting the pair... i'll pass.

Same thing happened to me. I just used some super glue and it's been holding really well since.

Alright my new shift **** arrived and installed.

BTW, one of the easiest and least expensive mod to my car, so far one of the best.

Those rally ones are BAD ***. But I dont see a menu to choose between the black or white one so what gives?
