Default Cold Air Intake?

I just picked up an '11 Mustang GT. I never had a Mustang before or even a fast car for that matter (my last car was a bone stock Accord 4 cylinder). A buddy of mine, who convinced me to get the car, says I should put a cold air intake on it for better power. I have to admit, all the mods that can be done are a bit intimidating but I wouldn't mind tinkering with her a bit.

I found a few options for a cold air intake, but this one says it's the largest on the market:

Is a larger cold air intake better than a smaller one? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

the article says a 12hp increase with headers exhaust & tune...that has to b a typo...if not, stay away from that...check out americanmuscle.com or brenspeed...the CAI does little for power, all the power comes from the tune...those sites post the range of gain that you'll see, just choose the intake you like best, tune that baby and listen to her roar

Steeda always has great quality in products, to round off the top 3 would be JLT and K&N.

there are several cai to choose from but as was already stated check out brenspeed or am. airraid deserves a spot up there too. I currently run that intake and im happy. Plus i have the 93 tune from brenspeed. It really woke up my car. So if u do get the cai u really need to get the sct hand held from brenspeed. they have both items in a combo price for around 600 i believe. U will think its a different gain if u do that. Shift points are nice and firm as they should be.

Research. A stand alone CAI, even on the 5.0, is a waste. The only benefit from a CAI is with a good custom tune.
