I have an 08 mustang GT and trying to install the 05-09 GT500 conversion kit from CJ pony. My car came with factory HID headlights if that makes a difference. The problem lies with the new wiring harness included with the kit. Where the black box attaches with screws to the passenger side next to the strut, that first connector going out of the box does not match my stock connector and will not connect. I have no idea what that connector controls. Can I splice my old connector to the GT500 harness or will I have to reinstall the old harness and splice the headlight connector and fog light connector? I noticed my HID headlight connector is different also.

Resolved problem. I was only supposed to remove the headlight and foglight connectors from the GT500 harness and splice them into my factory harness. Wow, I purchase this new harness just for these connectors. What a waste of $75.
