Well....there are plenty of us Vortech/Paxton guys here...like some have said, it's when you want to the power. I will say, when you get into boost with the Vortech...it takes off like a normal launch, but it is sick in the top end. As soon as you go wot, you almost already in boost. I have had 0 problems with the Vortech from Brenspeed. I will say, that the Whipple is much better looking under the hood....lol. But when I put mine in, price was a factor, and the Whipple, Saleen and KB were much more expensive.

THERE IS NO "BEST KIT" OUT THERE!! They can all push the engine to its power limit. They can all cause your engine to go boom.

Boost is boost, and it will cause your face to wrinkle up a smile everytime you hit the gas pedal. Which particular brand to get is unimportant. They are all proven and reliable. The tune you have done afterwards is the most important step. All kits come with a canned tune and is sufficient to drive on. But since every car is different, a customized tune for YOUR car is important to maximize the potential as well as keeping it safe.
Start checking shows and actual cars with S/C's on them for what you like.
I got a ProCharger without hesitation, simply because they are reliable AND they are only a 15min drive away from me. They have also done a few things for me since my car was used as the guinea pig for auto GT's.
