Convertibles and axle-backs, a good match?

Convertibles and axle-backs, a good match?
Any convertible owners with axle-backs out there? How is the sound with the top-down? I'm thinking of upgrading to some Magna-flows but am afraid of getting overwhelmed by the sound... any thoughts?

I just installed the Flowmasters. To me these mufflers sound good. These give off a nice deep tone during acceleration and under load. Once you hit a steady speed, they do quiet down. Hope this helps.

My Roush vert has Bassani I believe and I love the sound enough to keep the stereo turned off quite a bit.
It also sounds deep and mean when accelerating but a nice string purr when cruising.
