Why do some 05-09 Mustang GT's backside look wider than others?

Why do some 05-09 Mustang GT's backside look wider than others?
This really bothers me. Some of the backs of Mustang GT's(05-09) Appear to look wider than others, which I don't like?

Different packages have different bumpers (GT, GT/CS, GT500)

Swapping rear bumpers is fairly cheap and easy.
