Default thottle body question ???

Ok. I got an 06 mustang gt 5 speed and it had a thottle body spacer when I got the car used. Ok now the question does that thottlebody spacer do any thing at all for performance? cause I want to get rid it.

Whenever you lengthen the intake tract you increase torque. How much with that spacer? Maybe 1-2 HP across the RPM range.

The TB spacer adds weight which reduces your RWHP by 0.001. Since it adds about 0.0005 RWHP (on a good day), you're losing power.

TB spacers may work on carbed vehicles but for our engines, they're simply paperweights. Remove it and hang it from your Xmas tree.

The added HP of the TB spacer is negated by
the added wieght of said TB spacer.
It shows ignorance and nothing else.
?(previous owner)?
Sell it on eBay to the next TB lover sucker....

Overheard at a local veterinarian:
My 'friend' has a small weiner.
Is there anything 'he' can do for it, Doctor?

You have one installed? Really? At 3 ounces, it STILL reduces your power:weight...

Yes you do! LOL Also in my defense my car ran a 13.0 @ 107mph with all the parts that 90% of members here say not to buy. I ran that on a tune that I needed to retard the timing 5 degrees (didn't tune for TB) on stock BFG's and a 3.31 gear. Now with A.R. headers and a JDM tune I'll be in the 12's, so what's the issue?
