Default I jacked up and messed up my car...

Feel free to move this to the appearance section but I thought I would get some quicker action here. I backed up and scuffed the rear quarter panel of my car hard on the concrete at the bottom of a light poll just above the rear tire, and it's gonna cost me $900 to get it fixed. The guy at the dealer told me they could make it look new but they have to remove my louvers because they have to remove the whole panel to do it right. Anyone ever have this happen? I would love some stories to make me feel better about being a dumbass. I'm gonna do it because I love my car but this is just heart breaking.

Previously I had a '09 GT. I had not even made a payment on it when my wife backed it right into a tree. I got that fixed and a month later I pulled too far up on a curb (without knowing it) and when I backed up, I think I pulled everything but the radiator loose. You sound just like me...it kills you when you do something like that. While you are driving it, you feel like you are driving a piece of beat up junk. Welcome to club my friend....I truly do feel for you. The bright side is that it WILL be fixed and it WILL look good as new!!!!!

its no where near as bad as some of the stories I have heard hear, but it made me sick still.

A lot of good men and women have jobs in body shops because shiznit happens. Get her fixed and don't beat yourself up.

I had to have my entire rear quarter replaced. Find a top quality shop that you can trust and relax. It will be just fine once it is in the right hands.

Honestly if it were me, I would fix it and sell it. I would never be able to look at my car the same.
