I'm searching for a recommendation on a Shortthrow shifter as well
Without being able to feel the differences between the shifters, it makes it hard to pick one. Would you guys elaborate a bit as to why you like the MGWs? Is it a smoother shift? Less problems later on? Is it notchy (worse than stock?) and that's preferred by those that like that sort of thing?
Any insight you can offer as to why it's better (and in what regard) would be greatly appreciated!

MOTORHEAD, I'm sure you'll find yourself pleased as punch with the Hurst... especially at the great price of free. If you find you happen to have gotten one with slightly loose tolerances, (haven't heard a lot of folks with more recently purchased ones complain) a few drops of a high quality gun oil (I use BreakFree Cleaner and Preservative) on the spherical bearing will shut it up. Well, and you just can't beat the looks of it.
