Default New Noises.....Gremlin in the engine compartment

I have had my manual 2010 GT for about a year now. Never really had any issues with it. Always on top of changing the oil when needed and so forth. I am just now noticing some "clicking" noises coming from the engine compartment when I get on the gas. Most noticeable between 3rd and 4th gears. Any ideas?

Were you able to locate where precisely in the engine bay the noise is coming from?
Also, can you describe this clicking noise? Is it a small click like the tick of a clock or is a more of a clank like metal ringing against metal?

If possible, could you make a vid of your engine running with this clicking noise?

The 4.6L's are notorious for injector clicking. There's even a TSB on it. If it began happening right after a recent oil change, it's possible that your oil is thinner than it should be (but I tend to doubt that).

You're still under waranty. Have the dealership check it out so you have it documented.

Thanks for the information. It is more like a clock clicking/ticking sound, but loud enough for me to notice and be concerned. I do put synthetic oil in my vehicle. Have changed the oil recently and still notice the noise. Will prob be taking it by the dealership soon. Thanks again!

Are you sure it's not pinging? If it happens only when you get on the gas, then that would be my guess.

If the ticking is coming from the valve covers, then you might have a bad hydraulic lash adjuster...
