Yeah that usually just means something else is not. Texas had cheap plates, but lots of tolls, high sales tax, and high property tax. Colorado has very expensive plates, but reasonable property taxes, and 3% cheaper on sales tax. Also, no tolls anywhere near me...

In AZ. vanity plates are not expensive, the registration is; which is what I think you mean.

I wish Texas had 7 characters.
You can only have 6 here.

I decided to go ahead and get a set.
I decided to go with MSLCAR

The plates themselves look pretty cool.
Black and white.

I think the MSLCAR plate is a great idea for a custom plate.

I'm thinking of getting a custom plate for mine that'll say "SMRF" since I've officially named mine "the smurf"... as far as I know, custom plates in LA aren't to expensive.

Give it a few months as I beleive they are going to start doing 7 digits on custom plates in the near future.

This was a good reminder for me.... They passed a law that we can't place the plate in our windows anymore and it must be mounted to the front bumper. Basically they closed the loop hole. I just placed my order for "SHIFTN" in black so it wont stick out on my black car :-)

My car is registered in VA, and plates there are pretty cheap, paid $20.

I lived in Brasil for two years and speak Portuguese, so my plates says O CARA (means "the man" in Portuguese) Where I'm going to school there's a good amount of Brazilians and people who speak Portuguese, so I get reactions from it all the time.
