Noisy MGW Shifter

Noisy MGW Shifter
I installed an MGW shifter in my car a few weeks back, and I really like the way the shifter feels and shifts, but I have a vibration/buzz coming from the shifter at 3000RPM and above.
It's definitely coming from the shifter, and not the ebrake, and it only started after the install.
I used the dynamat and sound deadener that came with the kit. I also double checked to make sure everything was tight, and I used blue threadlock on all the bolts.
I'm going to put the car on jackstands this weekend, and I would appreciate any advice on things to look for.
Cheers

I would not be at all surprised if the vibration/rattle you are hearing/feeling is not the shifter at all, but something else and the vibration is just transferring to the shifter because of the better/stiffer bushings in the shifter.
I noticed a fair amount of vibration/noise increase when I installed mine as well. The dynamat helped, but didn't get rid of it. Personally, I think the issue has always been there, but it's just a lot more noticeable now.
Definitely keep us informed on how the investigation goes. I'm very interested to see if you kind out what it is
