Default Thinking about selling my 06

So I am thinking about selling my 06 GT Vert and I was wondering how much you all think I should try and get. I don't want to trade it in since you get far less for it.

86,000 miles
pypes longtubes
pypes off-road mid pipe
classic 40 series flows
sct tuner with tunes from brenspeed
JTL cia
new tires

I still have all the original parts that I took off to add my mods.

I know you don't get a lot of money back from your mods but it has to count for something.

What do you all think I should shoot for?

Location has a lot to do with it but being a vert I'd say you could probably get $16k for it but you'd be turning away quite a few low-ballers.

I say about $15k... We just bought in NJ a 2008 GT-CS from a dealer w/only 13k miles and all the goodies other than Navi and paid little under $25k. I know off the top that Edmunds.com reduces each year by ~ $3-3.5k. Then with 86k miles that is another $2-3k or so penalty due the high mileage for an '06.

Regarding mods, most won't pay more than 10 cents on the dollar for them. Very similar to housing right now, luxuries and extra are nice to have but buyers aren't willing to pay too much extra for them... good luck

I think that's way off. Everything I have seen and according to nada and kbb say around 19-20k.

15K... I bought an 07 COUPE 4 months ago. 18K miles for 19K from a dealer. I would return it to stock and sell everything on ebay. I would never buy a modded car. Most think instantly dogged out. Plus those goodies you could net around $800++++ easy off ebay.

If you plan to sell hurry!!! My bank caps loans at 90K miles UNLESS--- signature loan then that's 10% rate WAY TO HIGH.

Edmonds seems just way too low-ball for me. I am looking at trying to flip a 1994 bmw 325i vert this lady want to sell me for $2,500. Edmonds said it's only $1,900 private party lol.

Dream on unless you can find a sucker.

FWIW, I paid $13,500 in April 2009 for an '06 V6 Pony package with upgrades, 9630 miles, garage kept and in mint condition from a Ford dealer. Toss in $1-2k for the V8 and $1-2k for the ragtop and subtract about $1k for the 1.5 years.

Nuke... I think you're under-rating the value of GT Stang vs a V6

GT is worth a lot more than $2k vs a V6 Stang... Totally different class of car both inside & out. Also the Vert option on a GT when new is about $5k. So after a few years it should still sell for a premium way above $1-2k vs a comparable equipped Coupe.
