Default Sound Question

I have a 2007 Mustang GT with the shaker 500 system. Its great but I am adding two 10" subs in the back. When a friend and I got ready to wire it up we realized that I need some sort of adapter that will go behind my radio to allow me to hook up the subs. With me being a girl I really have no idea what I need LOL. Can someone help me?

The Shaker 500 doesn't have jacks for alternate sub output. Have you considered bypassing the subs in the doors and using those inputs?

Here's the link to the shop manual which includes the audio wiring.

IMO, the Shaker 500 has enough bass to keep me happy and not enough that I'm mistaken for some hood pimp.

Dont you mean Outputs there nuker?

The door speakers are Mid-Bass and the
lows are EQed out of the 500s 'mid-bass'
outputs.
At least thats what an audio generator
and a silly scope shows.

You can use a JL Audio CleanSweep or something similar.
A speaker level to RCA level converter.
The more you spend, the better it will sound.

im gonna put a 3sixty.2 in my stang when I'm ready to do the sound.. thats only because I want to keep my Sync nav head unit.. if you have a standard head unit you should just change it out completely.. it will be way more cost effective
