Default 3.73 Ford Racing Gears or a JLT Cold Air Intake??

Only had my 2007 GT for about 2 months and want to know which will make it faster; A CAI with a tune or 3.73's?

Welcome to the MF muellergt2007, from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

If you asked what I'd do, I'd wait and do the whole works at one time;
me personally, I'd get 4.10's...but that's just me.
If it's your DD, better go with 3.73's

Let's see some pics of the '07 GT, when you get a chance

Larry

I'd start with the CAI/Tune first because you'll need the handheld tuner to adjust the speedo after the gears are installed. I'd say both as well

Welcome

You will notice the biggest change in the seat of the pants from the gears by far. But your Speedo will be off and so you will need at least a recalibration of that. Ford Dealer can do the deed up to 3.73s if you don't want to buy a tuner right away.

Welcome
Ditto. CAI & tune first, not just because of the need for the handheld to reset your gear ratio in the PCM but for the overall driveability changes (not to mention the extra 20-25 RWHP).

I'd do the CAI/Tune first then the gear. Depending on your stock gear, you may want to do 4.10's. Also as stated, you will need to recalibrate with your handheld. If it's an auto, you will then need an updated tune to adjust the shift points.

Based on my experience get the CAI + Tune first, for me took 1/2 second off my 1/4 mile time, gears later, I went with 4.10's gained a tenth or two in the 1/4 mile, but made the car more fun to drive.
