I agree with the above. It's all about your driving style, that's the most important aspect. Just make sure that you know you're going to have to take turns easy, don't try to fly off from stops etc.

As most of us say that are from the winter weather climates, you can drive any car in bad and cold weather, but you do need to know what you're doing or you'll end up spinning yourself into a ditch. Just have to take it easy

I picked up a set of Michelin x-ice 2 winter tires. They weren't cheap but I wasn't going to take the risk.

When the temperature here started to drop, my nitto's would start to cut loose and this wasn't from anything spirited or out of the ordinary. It was just from making turns from a stop or slowing down to turn. I was glad to get on my winter set

I drive my "summer" tires in the winter on clear days only of course. The compound gets hard and they break loose easily. Just keep that in mind and don't drive too aggressively and they'll be fine.

Like others said I would not drive with those tires in freezing cold weather.
