could that moisture be caused by running rich and the combo of fouled plugs? I hope so.... the car ran fine before it died... took her on a trip to Houston and back--- no prob. Next morning gone... prior to the Houston trip she had 1 hard start-- It usually fires up nice but this time it screeched and failed to start. I turned her over one more time and she fired up so I let it go. I took out the the first 39lb injector on the passenger side to check it-- it was full of fuel, I mean full.... I hope its not that major of a repair.... XMAS is a tough time for hefty repair bills. Its my daily so i need to get her up and running soon...

No. They would be black and built up with carbon.

Leave your COP's alone.

My coolant recovery tank overflows out of the cap, I changed the cap but i continue to see the top of the tank wet. Could that have something to do with the rust and plug degradation? BTW, thank you for the feedback.

If your coolant tank is overflowing then your pushing combustion gases into the coolant system. Im sorry but you need an engine teardown. Seeing those plugs makes me think this has been happening for a while. I bet if you start the engine cold with the cap off the coolant tank it will buble.

At the very least your looking for new gaskets. I would have the heads and block machined for flatness as well. Sorry to say but in my eyes it looks like a cheap fix wont help.

Take it to a reputable shop and have the work done. It wont be cheap though.

I'm wondering if maybe it's a fuel injector issue. I'm sure if I was in the OP's shoes I'd have to take it to the dealer and bend over. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Try twisting the cap so it is between clicks. Squeeze the radiator hose before and after and you should be able to feel a difference.
