Yesterday driving home in traffic from work I passed a car on the right lane on a three lane interstate that a Mercedes couldn't musturd and it was hailorous because the Mercedes finally got around after I did acourse and he tried to stay with my back bumper and I could tell he was gaining from a 100 yards back but he finally just gave up trying. What I'm trying to say our car can launch like a sonofabitch and by the time the dick smack finally gets his moving its too late. I know that Mereceds was ****ting.

just crack open any magazine and compare the times will tell you what car is fastest....now how someone who is not a professional driver does outside of that is a different matter! I had mine at the track and my best time was 15.6 and lost to a 90 civic hatchback...I am no pro, I just like to drive...so if someone in a less powerful car claims he/she beat a new stang GT...it was the driver, not the car.

haha, he probably would have gotten less wheel spin and a better time if the floormat was stuck behind the gas pedal... Thats a pretty crappy time, glad you don't really care about that kinda thing.


Yes I'm still an import owner, and everyday, I am a day closer to owning a S197 Mustang. None the less I think it is fair to say that you cannot rule out an SC400 automatically because it is a heavy Lexus. Yes it would take a couple mods like the twin turbo kit to complete the already existing Supra engine under the hood. Being that it wasn't stock there would be obvious other minor mods and a custom tune to the turbo setup which would allow it to basically keep quite well with the most recent generation mustangs. You don't laugh at Supra's do you? Why would you laugh at another car that may be a few lbs heavier with the same engine?

Mercedes are comfortable so that your boss can sleep in the passenger seat while you make record time on the way to your next meeting.

lexus sc300 is the one with the spura I6 motor. if you want to mod out one of these lexus coupes, the sc300 is better, since u just slap a supra turbo kit on it. single turbo if u really want to do it right. the sc400's v8 is a good motor, but much less stuf can be done to it. i think that the sc300 was availible in stick, and the sc400 was only auto. they both were nice cars tho, and still look pretty good for their age.

I have owned both the SC 300 and the SC 400, the 300 runs like a 6. The 400 is heavy and slow from the start but it might surprise you once it is up and running.
