Default 08 GT: opinion on mods

Hi, I wanted some advice on my build plans for a 2008 GT 5 speed with 25,000 miles. I'm looking for the car to run high 11's or low 12's. I won't use this car as a daily driver, but then again I probably should. I'll drive this car mostly on the street with an occasional run down the track:

1. Kooks full header without cats, Corsa axle back.
2. mosier 31 spline axles, detroit locker & 4.10.
3. Ram clutch & spec aluminum flywheel.
4. Hurst shifter
5. Diablo programmer
6. Rousch cold air induction
7. MSD coils
8. FRPP GT500 Upgrade Fuel Pump??? if I add supercharger.

After I complete this list I want to install new cams.....not sure what cams to look at (Comp Thumper?). Also I'm not sure if there is a good aftermarket intake available or maybe a supercharger? Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Get a Whipple H.O. and a set of slicks and your there without adding all those other bolt ons.

Just that the COPs are useless on an NA engine. Plus, there have been a number of issues with aftermarket COPs.

Stock COPs are better than aftermarket units. Roush m90 is on sale for $3899. Upgrade to the 500 HP package and your in the 11s as well. No reason to change fuel pump. Get a SC and then get a BAP.
