I have a 2010 Mustang GT Premium. Have any of you noticed the fuel gauge on the dashboard being overly conservative with the amount of fuel in the tank? I filled my tank this morning, the dash gauge read half full. The gas pump put in 6.2 gallons of gas. Tank capacity is 16 gallons. Does the gauge take into account a fuel reserve?

when you read 0 miles to empty that is 15 gallons used and you have 1 more gallon left.

You also need to know how the fuel guage works
to be able to get accurate readings from it.
Its so sensitive, I can tell 75% full from 76% full
on my MSD DashHawk and I only fill with a
calculator in hand.
.15 per percent empty and it goes to 100% every time.
