Hey guys I have been ghosting the forums for a little while now and been driving my 2005 stang for a little over 3 years now. I am coming up on 120 thousand miles and I want to know what I need to do in order to maintain her. I would also love any recommendations as to where I should take the car. Should I take it to a ford dealer ship?

The only mods installed are as follows: bassani x-pipe and exhaust, ford CAI, tuner. It is also an automatic.

Since I have your attention I have one more quick question, a few months ago I was in a fender bender and they flushed my radiator fluid and tranny fluid. Now every once in a while, when I slow down or come to a stop, the car shifts to Neutral and I have to rev the engine in order for it to slip back into drive. Can someone give me an idea as to what this might be?

What maintenance have you done in the past? That will tell us where the car is and what needs to be done.

Just the normal stuff. Oil change every 3-5 k with intermittent oil and fuel filter changes. I had the radiator and transmission fluid replaced after the accident, but as stated, I am having problems with my transmission, though I have no light. Tired rotated and changed here and there. The normal stuff.

I found this old thread with the same question....this should help. I couldn't find anything about the tranny.....maybe someone else will be able to help.
