Default Pypes Long Tube H-pipe with cats.

I have pypes long tubes with an off road h-pipe. I need to get my car inspected (which i can do myself) but my readiness codes are not set for the 02 sensor and related systems.

I need to buy a h-pipe with cats but i can't find one for the pypes set up i have. I could have sworn that i saw this on some website when i was looking at buying my longtubes.

Does anyone know if these exist?

I'm guessing you mean you are getting Check Engine lights? not sure exactly what you mean by readiness codes if it is a CEL, just buy a new tune that turns off the rear O2 sensors. Unless your car is getting a sniffer in the tailpipe, that should get you past inspections easily.

There is no check engine light and i will perform the inspection myself so i can pass anything i want. However, here in NC, when you do an inspection, you have to plug in the car to the computer and it checks for all the readiness systems to make sure they have performed their self check and have passed. Same reason you can't clear a check engine light and then inspect the car right away. All the systems have to perform their self diag which in the case of the EVAP system can take a day or so. Otherwise, i would be golden but i have no control over the DMV computer checking the cars computer.

I performed a 'training' inspection on my car just to see what would happen since my inspection is due here in April. The car failed due to three of those readiness codes not being ready. I have a tune from brenspeed so there is no check engine light, which i was told would solve my issue with inspection but they were very wrong.

So now i need to get a pypes mid-pipe with cats so those readiness codes can be set. I could have sworn i saw the hardware somewhere but i cant seem to find it now. Gonna be pretty pissed if i have to remove my long tubes and reinstall stock just to pass.

Hope that all made sense.

i know in pa if its an 05 or newer u can have 1 readiness could unset and before 05 tillidk when u can have 2 so possibly u may get away if u get the rest ready besides the O2 sensors and there are things u can put were the 02 sensor would go to turn the lfigt off and tunes to turn the light off

Yea you can have one and still pass but i have three I have 02 extensions that were needed with the longtubes but i don't think those are 'foulers'. I had some 'mil' eliminators from a while ago but i can't seem to find them anywhere now. If you know of some, please, let me know.

As far as I know Pypes doesn't have a catted midpipe option, you'll have to build your own. Just purchase some high-flow cats and have them welded in.

Brenspeed had advised me that what they do for people who desire cats with their Pypes set up.

Ok, your car isnt going to pass because the rear 02's are off, therefore they will report as "not-ready" and you will fail. Since they are off, you won't get any CEL's.

You can try the non foulers, MIL eliminators, or get a custom dyno tune

Good luck
