I do know that if you program the computer to ignore the downstream sensors it will NOT make the car run any differently. I'm just trying to find out if I tie the downstream sensors up with them still plugged into the harness if the car will run right. I know the check engine light will come on but if they just simply monitor the converters then they shouldn't make the car run rough. If it works like they did on my 03 gt then it will work, I'll just have a check engine light on.

I had them cut off. The check engine light come on but it didn't hurt the way it ran at all. I'll get a tune to turn the light off when i can. I'm sure that most off road pipes sold don't come with anything to turn that light off so I think I did pretty good. Only cost me 60 bucks for an off road H-pipe.

Rear sensor operation or missing or whatever will not affect normal operation.
It's just there to indicate catalyst failure or reduced effectiveness as the cats age.
