Buying a new 2011 GT
#11
The only "problem" I had was the fuel pump module TSB. The fuel gauge would drop from from half to empty and then I could only fill about 8 gallons in. Took my dealership 2 days to fix as per the TSB. Again, not super common. I also had to repeatedly remind the dealership service manager that the 2011 GT took 8 quarts of oil and they still filled 6 quarts! Luckily, I made them check and they filled 2 more quarts!
Biggest problem is keeping it below 80 mph! $400 ticket plus costs in the first week! Now I do my high speed driving on the race track...so much cheaper and safer than on the street! Your first mod should be a good radar detector like the Valentine One.
Seriously, this is a fabulous car and a fabulous value. I have owned Benzes (still do) for ever and I am very proud and pleased to own the 2011 Mustang GT!

I hear you. On the interstate, with not even the gas pedal pressed half way down, 100 MPH in 6th is so damn easy to hit, and you will not know you are speeding until you look down at the speedo!
