Default Electric Exhaust Cutouts

Anyone have cutouts on their 3V mustang? I have been browsing the performance company websites and haven't seen any.

No, but I had them on my '98 MK VIII. I took them off right before I sold the car.

They are from here:

Unless they were able to be installed before the cats, would they really be of any benefit on an S197? Since the S197's exhaust flows so well after the H-pipe, I think you'd gain a few very minor RWHP and a whole lot of undesireable noise.

That's a pretty sweet setup, warthog. Whoever did that did a nice weld job.

I don't think it would sound good on our cars. It would be stupid loud and everything would shake/vibrate.

That's just what I want....stupid loud on demand. Most of the time I will have the cutouts closed off. That is a cool setup on that lincoln. My grandpa had a mark VIII, I really liked that car.

I have cut outs and LOVE them.. though they are hideously loud, and the entire cabins vibrate! I eventually want the electronic cuts outs after I pass IM.. sounds insane with cams. Word of warning though.. avoid LONG drives with them. They'll agitate you and make you angry without even knowing it, it's that loud. I used to come home from the track about an hour and a half away feeling very angry and annoyed.. turned out, the cut outs were bugging the hell out of me! I closed them up once on the way home, and felt better rofl
