Default New 2007 GT

Hey everybody, I am new here and I recently got my new 2007 Mustang GT. I have been reading for awhile and the first thing I want to change is the axleback system.

Now, I have been leaning towards the MAC, but I want everyone elses opinion on them. I want my exhaust to sound really loud and deep but not like an old truck. Also, if there is any other axleback that I should look into, I'm all for other option. Thanks everybody.

Exhaust is a matter of opinion, you'll have to go to several different Mustangs perhaps at car shows etc.... and listen for yourself. Different brands on the 05+ cars sound very differently then the 04- cars so don't use opinions based on those as a reference.

Congrats on the new ride. I had SLP Loudmouths on my car and thought it sounded awesome. If you change your midpipe or headers they get to loud and raspy. I just took them off for that reason and will be posting them for sale soon, if your interested hit me up with a pm.

The exhaust sticky has a good bit of info on... exhausts.

The waters are muddy since you can take the same set of axlebacks and put different crossover pipes on and the tone changes can be dramatic.

Hey everybody, how do the mac axleback compare with the boomtubes? I just want the loudest exhaust possible without making my car sound like a truck

I can tell you that I had the same question before I got my Mac axle backs, and they sound great.Nice and deep which is what i wanted and awesome at WOT.But as stated you really need to hear a few setups before you decide.
