Almost home Gents! Time to mod....
well, I'm just about home now from this deployment to Afghanistan. I already started buying stuff for the car but I'm looking for some input.
I just picked up a Spec Stage 2+ clutch with an aluminum flywheel and had my buddies throw it in. They said its amazing the difference...
Now, I'm kind of stuck though. I can't decide if I want to blow a big chunk of change on a supercharger or if I'd rather buy some worked heads and either a C&L or Ford upper intake to compliment my long tubes, hot rod cams, pulleys, gears, and intake.
I made 331rwhp with old *** spark plugs and mid-octane fuel. Once I get Chris Rose to work out the a/f ratios, I'm hoping for around 340whp. With the heads and the upper intake and a TB, do you think 400whp is possible?
I really want to pull the trigger on the S/C but then I'll have to start saving up for the Brenspeed 5.0 that I want since I don't think my 98,000 mile motor will take boost for that long...
any input?

Heads, intake, exhaust, and CAMs will get you to 400+ HP easily.
If you can afford it, especially since you will be putting these, and a supercharger on, you should include in your mods rebuilding the engine and rebuilding it with all true forged internals.

I would say your numbers are realistic and you should be all over 400. That's a nice setup you have going and with the miles on her, I would not sc her at this point personally. Perhaps some suspension work may be in order if it has not been done yet? Money well spent imo.
Have a safe trip home and thank you for your service...this pic is for you brother!

I'd go with the Ford intake over the C&L personally, especially since the Ford's is about half the weight and looks better.
Invest in a Shaftmaster's 3.5" aluminum driveshaft. Cuts 20lbs. off the factory setup and makes the drivetrain feel tighter.
Is your suspension all stock? I can't imagine how bad your wheelhop should be with 340whp on 4.10s

Congrats on almost being home!
Get the SC and save for internals. Also keep an eye on that Spec's 2+ clutch and flywheel combo, more than a few people have had nothing but problems with that setup including myself.
