Brenspeed is an exceptional speed shop and have some nice cai and tuner packages for the 5.0. They are very hands on as they compete in the NMRA so whatever part they sell they have first hand experience.
+1. Brenspeed completely transformed my car. It is as quiet as stock when driven gently, and wails like a nascar when stomped upon. With the rock-hard P-zeros, 3rd gear has the car sideways from a high RPM roll-on. I have not had the car on a dyno, but Brenspeeds claim of 400+ RWHP for my kit seems reasonable if not pessimistic.

I am not new to modern muscle; my last car was an LSII GTO with all the bolt-ons, and this car leaves it in the dust. Call Brent.

I haven't felt it yet, but I imagine he did it mostly for looks. Still thinking about a shock tower brace and CAI without the tune. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the input so far!

I dunno about "voiding" the factory warranty. You can always re-flash back to stock if you have to go to the dealer.

On a side note, it may behoove you to read the Magnuson-Moss Act:

If I flash the computer back to stock calibration, it is my understanding that the dealer will still be aware that the computer had at one time been recalibrated (even if it shows up at the dealer with the stock calibration in the computer).

You sound just like me from a few months ago. Here is the answer I got. The dealer cannot void your warranty, period. If you have a major failure, the burden of proof is on the dealer to show that your mods caused the failure. That will be impossible if you re-flash prior to having the major repair addressed. So what if they know you re-flashed? Diconnecting the battery shows them the same message.

Chances are very good that even if you have a major failure, you would not likely have any issue having it covered even with the non-stock tune. But, let's play devil's advocate and assume you blow it up and the tune is to blame. Not abuse, but let's say a timing flaw in the program that liens it out and melts some valves. If you buy the tuner as an all in one kit from a reputable source like Brenspeed I am confident they would work with you to get it fixed.
