Default Now I know where the "All-time Greats" went...

I noticed I've been spending less time on these forums lately, mainly after I got my supercharger installed, and have the car exactly how I always dreamed it; loud, beautiful, and crazy fast. You could say I've reached the Mustang "Valhalla". There's simply nothing left to do to this car anymore.

I always wondered where TacoBill, One-Eyed *****, Diabolical, and all those other brave tinkerers from 2-3 years ago went. They were so helpful. Always posting writeups, and helping n00bs like me with their problems. I guess they too reached mustang valhalla, and just look down upon us from the heavens.

Oh well, no big loss from me not being around so much. I was never really helpful. Lol!

Although I may return during summer, seeing as, I'm playing with the idea of adding Detroit Rocker cams, and 4.10 gears to my car, at once...

This thread has no point, I know. Just mentioning something I noticed.

I know that diabolical is still a regular but haven't seen the others for quite awhile.

One-Eyed ***** is part owner of another Mustang site so he's devoted to it now.

Tacobill was never a heavy poster per say...
He came up with some cool mods and made great write ups about it but never really interacted with folks in other threads on something that he didn't do himself as far as I can tell.
Nothing wrong with that, he provided great help none the less.

Diabolica is deep in Voodoo stuff now.... No, just kidding!
He's not as active as he used to but he comes around eventually.

Some other members sold their cars and moved on...

I like my epic theory better than your "moved on" explanation.
Do you go around telling little kids the easter bunny doesn't exist, too?

I'm still here. My wife and I welcomed our first born 19 months ago and I've had less time for playing on the internet. My job has also become more demanding. I still post to help when I can and ask for advice when I need it. I also visit another forum that's more S197 specific. Rest assured, I'm still heavy in the mustang scene and make it to a dragstrip (No Problem Raceway or Gulfport Dragway) at least once or twice a month. The only big change is that my car is a trailer queen now. (Don't hate )

I wish I could reach that point with my mustang but I dont think I will get there with this one. Either way, I love the car, but a Supercharger would make it a whole new beast.

I actually met Tacobill last year at the fabulous fords show.
I recognized him from his youtube vids.
you might be able to find him over on The Mustang Source forums.
some of the old timers are still here. like the 1st member of the Boomtube Crew.

Funny how this kind of stuff goes. I was a big Harley guy from 2000-2009. I was a Harley forum junkie like you wouldn't believe. Lived for all the Harley crap too. After 10 years I just got tired of it. Sold my Ultra Classic and bought my GT vert. Next thing you know I'm a Mustang forum junkie. I have my car how I want it now after about a year and a half later. Actually, I have it more than I ever wanted because I never intended on supercharging it till Roush had the killer chrome M90 closeout deal. Im starting to grow a little jaded with the Mustang forum topics and I'm sure one day I will move onto something else. I used to also be real heavy into guitar and amp forums because I'm a guitar player and singer. Have been for 35 years now. The forum thrills for guitars and gear kind of faded for me after a couple years. I'm going on 43, single and no kids so hobbies are no problem. Who knows what my next hobby and or obsession will be? Maybe kart racing or model planes.
