Good price to sell my '11 GT? Need advice.
Hey guys,
I was wondering what price I should expect/hope to get for my car. I am about to put an ad up on Autotrader and eBay and have no idea how much I should ask for my car.
Details:
-'11 GT Premium Kona Blue/Black
-Manual 6spd
-Brembo Pkg
-Security Pkg
-Comfort Pkg
-Heated Seats/HID headlights
-Shaker 500 stereo upgrade
-5600 miles, in perfect condition, not a scratch anywhere.
I was hoping to get $30,000 for it, but is that unrealistic? I don't know what brand new equivalent cars are selling for now.

As for the pricing, I definitely think you should be able to snag at least 30k out of that...pretty low mileage and filled with upgrades. I'd say post it a bit above 30 to allow some room for negotiation. I think you'll definitely see some interest.

You're in the same situation as me. I travel 100% and only home on the weekends. However, I love to come home and tinker with the car and drive it on the weekend. It's almost the only thing I do lately besides mowing the grass. I think I will always have a Mustang in my garage for the rest of my life, no matter what.
I drive my Ford Ranger to the airport which is where it lives most of the time. It has a lot of scratches from everyone hitting it with their doors. I would never park my Mustang at the airport.
Sounds like your car is really nice and you should have no problem getting what you're asking. Although the gas prices may limit the amount of buyers at this time.

I appreciate everyone's advice. I am disappointed I cannot keep the car, it is everything I had hoped it would be. But I also can't see myself paying this much for a car that gets driven so rarely. I'm just going to buy a beater until this travel schedule lightens up a bit.
Thanks again!
