With ET streets bias ply tires you dont have to do a huge smokey burnout. 2nd gear about 40 mph for 4 or 5 seconds tops, then stage. Hopefully you will have good air, its Alaska for Gods sake. LOL
Good luck Stealth, run a good one.

Thanks 808
Yup.. the air is great, it's pretty much sea level and about 70 degrees, low humidity.
Test and tune nights are always fun.. finally some street cars to run against and not 9 second monsters..

Wow.. what an event! Soo many racers showed up and it was HOT out there.
Track was blah as usual for TnT nights.. this time, the ET lights were off! WTF?
Anywho.. 30 psi ended up being a bit much and it actually made it more wobbly at the end of the track. I could'nt hook for squat with that psi, so I kept on dropping it and settled on 20 psi. Of course, with 30 psi I did not burn out as much so that might be why.
Honestly though, between the LT's/Roots blower you're making a lot more low end torque than I am which may be contributing to your successful launches.
Best run 12.6@110mph, 2.0 60 ft. Hovering between 12.7-12.9 wtf>!
Lots of cool cars but just my luck, I always lined up against damn MOD ET cars and getting spanked. Did beat the hell out of some Hondas and a Beamer though..

Did you look up the DA? The DA tells you a lot.

Weird that the car would feel wobbly on the top end with a higher psi. Usually the lower psi gives that floaty feeling. Sounds like you had fun and that is the point. How many runs did you end up getting?

I did quite a few runs, I wish I had taken pics because I never seen TNT so packed! So many cool cars! I wished I had better timing and ran against the other mustangs/Cobras and turbo civics... I did however beat the living snot out of a new SS.. damn, who runs 14s in an SS?? lulz

Are you racing at Alaska Raceway? My track is at sea level too. Its doesnt mean squat. Its about temp, humidity and barometer. A good nite at my track is when the DA is in the 900 ft range. Most nites is 1500-2000.
