Default Had 4.10s installed this weekend. Wow!

I had FRPP gears installed this weekend and all I can say is WOW! The car feels completely different. There is no bog in any gear.... I can't believe how hard it pulls in the higher gears now! I know it's kind of a cliche but these cars should come with 4.10s from the factory! I read it on this forum a million times and now can attest..."Do not Fear the Gear!"

Not too much. Mostly city but I was only taching a little over 2100 at 65-70 on my way home from getting them installed. I think that is pretty reasonable..

I love the 4.10s... with the boomtubes though the highway exhaust noise is pretty loud..

I love the responsiveness a new set of gears would bring, but for me i'd probably bitch about gas mileage, even though i'm still getting 5 over what my old tahoe could muster on a good day. Seeing as i just picked up my mustang a couple weeks ago, could anyone enlighten me as to what gears the GT manuals come with from the factory?

I believe GT manuals come with 3.55 (?) or as an option 3.73. I know my auto came with 3.31 and switching to 4.10s was a really nice change. The car definatly has a more torquey feel to it, its a great mod. Even more fun with a m90 in there.

808muscle is correct for the early years, in 07 or 08 they made 355's an option in the manuals. Dont rememebr 373's being an option though. Auto always came with 331's dont think they had the option.

This is what I found on the AM website:

http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-410-0510gt.html

Probably more around 2400 RPM.
