which axle backs?

RE: which axle backs?
I bought a set of SLP Powerflo's for mine. They are definately louder than the stock and makes it sound more agressive but not too loud that you can't hear yourself think either. They have a resonance at about 1700-2100 RPM range that you can hear very distinctly in the cabin of the car. The more you push down on the gas, the louder they get within that range. On the highway, after you hit 67-68 MPH, they start to tone down when you mash the gas.
I like them, it is just a matter of your own personal taste.

The Hookers are on. Certainly a much DEEPER tone with a nice decel growl that kicks in at 2 Gs. I didnt follow the directions to install which had a bunch of stuff about prybar or large screwdriver to get mount pegs out of grommets. Suck it up and take the rubber mounts off completely. At least the once closest to the tail. The ones further in I undid the bolt on mount which is vertical (above muffler casing) and loosened the horizontal screw and then you can rotate bracket and get mufflers out. The mount bolts are 13mm the clamp to pipe bolts are 15mm. IIt was late when I got done so I couldn't really romp on it Besides it only has 1000 miles on it. But I like them. There is a bit of drone at about 2k rpm. but who drives at 2 k rpm!!![sm=exactly.gif] I found them easier to put on than to get the oem stuff off.
