There should be a throttle recalibration procedure in your OM but you can also find it all over the forum with the search feature. That may or may not help but the custom tune is probably the best bet to reduce or eliminate throttle lag (besides gaining all that added RWHP).

I checked the OM and I must have been thinking the window calibration; my bad. I KNOW that there's a method floating around the forum. Someone will post a link, I'm sure.

Isn't it the procedure where you turn the key to the on position, but do not start, wait for all the dinging and lights to quit flashing, then press the go pedal down slowly (5 seconds) then let it up slowly (5 seconds), turn key off. Then you can start the car and have better throttle resonse.

I'm not sure if that's it exactly but it sounds right, if not close...

Get a tuner and be sure that your throttle body is clean.

Tips for throttle acceleration.

1. Insert Key into ignition.
2. Turn the car on.
3. Put the car in D or 1st
4. Slam the accelerator pedal
5. Hesitation Fixed

For real though...I'd say pick up some Seafoam Deep Creep and clean out your throttle body, maybe try the cleaning the MAF sensor as well
