I installed a summit racing O/R H pipe along with Flowmaster axleback and it threw the check engine light on.. some sites say it doesnt effect anything and that its normal after you delete the cats and others say you will run lean until you fix it.. anyone else had this problem? can it be fixed with a tuner or do i need new 02 sensors.. what kind of tuner would you recommend?

Your CEL is because you have no cats! You need to find a tuner that will turn off your rear o2's for you.

That's common when you don't have a tune for it. I don't believe you run lean from that, though.

Do you have an SCT device? If so that can read and clear the cel. No cats will trigger the cel. If you dont have a tune/cai for your car you should have one. Its the single best mod for a N/A car. With that custom tune they will turn off your sensors so you dont get the cel. Check out brenspeed and AM for cai/sct combos.

Looked at Brenspeed CAI + Tuner packages... never realized how important having a tuner was.. guess thats my next purchase
