My two best invaluable bang-for-the buck modifications to date have been:

1. One-piece aluminum driveshaft - frees up extra hp at the wheels; slightly increases fuel economy; makes the car feel more "put together"; faster acceleration.

2. Tokico D-Spec shocks/struts - adjustable, so I don't **** my wife off on road trips because the ride is too rough; can set it soft to get some extra traction from the weight transfer; set it nice and firm for track days. All around win-win.
