I am curious on what combos have worked best best on a 96 cobra for a nominal HP gain. I want to supercharge it, but I want to do everythig right. Is the 4v cam suitable or should it be changed also. I have seen some kits that also include an intercooler and I am thinking centrifugal over a roots so I can still keep the stock cobra upper and lower. The headers and exhaust pipes are also still stock and I want to change those too. I am already figuring on having the rom reprogrammed for the upgrades but I was going to wait to do that last after a dyno. I had Borlas on my 88 GT conv, w/ ceramic shortys and off-road h-pipe and they sounded perfect. I am a little bit of a gearhead, but the heads on this engine scare me. The are way different than any 5.0 I have ever had. Also, the engine has quite a few miles on it. so... should I have it rebuilt before I start attemping all this? Thanx
