14" baer brakes makeing alot of noise

i just put the 14" drilled and slotted Baer brakes on my 07 mustang. The kid was a used kit with 4k miles on them. The rotors have no wear and the pads looked new. But as I am coming to a stop they squeak bad. I have been told before it may be the pads. Does anyone know if this is true and could maybe lead me in the right direction on what pads to order?

probably got ceramic pads. Change your pads to a cheeper set. Slotted and drilled rotors are a big waste of money. The slots, a long time ago were to remove break dust from asbestos pads, the holes were to eliminate a LB or so of weight. The pads they make today don't give off break dust like they used to and if you want to shed 1 LB , just go to the restroom before you get in the car. If slotted and drilled rotors were worth the trouble, they would be on NASCAR and INDY cars, The Slots and holes just take away surface area. They still sell them because people buy them, and they look kind of cool.

I like the way they looked over the solid ones

I have to ask, why does it look like your hood is bent up in the middle?

Slotted and drilled rotors wear out your brakes about twice as fast and a flat surface rotor.
Each one of those slots and holes acts like a knife, and take off a 1000 to 10,000 each time you step on the brake.

Why would they sell them if that wear that pads down 1,000 times faster... And either way I like the look better like I said b4

And the hood dried that way when I got it re- cleared, ya I know it a little bent not much I can do other then replace it

I have the same front kit and I don't have any noise at all, even with ceramic pads. Is the noise coming from the front or rear? I would regrease all caliper slide pins and slide rails. Also make sure that you are torquing your wheels in a star pattern to avoid rotor warping.

Quick question to allinon72.

Did the Eradispeed+ kit fit those S-style wheels without the need of spacers?
I'm thinking of going with those wheels/brakes combo.
