Default VA Beach here, another glitch though

Coming from VA Beach. So I've ran into another pr
oblem...not the cabin filter drain clogged up..not the idle trim not resetting after a new battery...now if I turn my head lights on..low beam, high beam, or fog lights my interior instruments go out, all gauges and radio lights go out but still work as far as mechanically view. Going deeper tomorrow but just checked the fuses and all good..not relays though...anyways any pointers or experiences so far? Really hate wire chasing.

First thing to check is the voltage from the battery. Provided you have a good source, I would check the voltage drop to the headlights when on.

I'm thinking to check the dimmer switch first, not that I think it's bad but that it may simply be turned down. I believe the dash lights light up independent of the dimmer when the headlights or running lights are off but thru the dimmer otherwise.
