Default a lil help with my mods plz guys

ok here is what ive got going..im getting a 2011 gt auto tranny and i juss had a few questions on how to get the most out of my mods..im not mechanicly inclined by any means so any help wud be much appreciated..ok mods im getting a steeda tune and cai combo..a magnaflow competition exhaust..and sum 3.73 gears..now my questions are..i heard i will need a tune for the new gear ratios where would i go to get a custom tune made i live in nashville TN also i was reading about wheelspin for the new gears , would larger/wider wheels help with this and some good summer tires..do you guys think this would be a good initial setup..thnx guys cant wait to have my new 5 OH!!!

honestly, i'd get the cai and tune from american muscle that way you could have them tune the gear ratio for you as well...as for the tires, i'll let smebody else handle that...i do believe a set of sway bars would help if im not mistaken

woud i describe the tune i need when i order?? and any ideas where i could get the gears put in i dont really wanna go ask the dealer to do it thatd be expensive im sure idk if anybody knows anyplaces around tennesse that cud do it for not so much $$ thnx guys

U will call Brenspeed or AM and order the cai and tune. then they will develope the tune based off your computer (i beleive). Then when u get your gears you will want to find a reputable shop to do the install. One that has done gear swaps without whine. When u do that u will want to have a tune for the new gearing. Generally speaking guys are paying around 500 for gears and labor.

how do bama and steeda compare are they pretty similar or is one more conservitive with their tuning also are theyre any problems goin on with either of these tunes?? thnx for your imput guys its much appreciated

IMO the STEEDA kit and tune are the best to start with and If I remember correctly you can adjust the gear ratio yourself through the handheld.

bama gives you free tunes for life...IMO it's the best deal you can get until you start in the direction of dyno tunes...i've heard nothing but good things from bama...i never even knew steeda did custom tunes

if u get the cai and tuner from brenspeed u will get free tunes there also. pick brenspeed or am dont mess with the others
